NATIONAL DAY OF REPENTANCE
On October 10, 2010, the state of Minnesota is entering into a time of repentance before the Lord. Minnesota is a leading state in the nation and we need to lead the way back to the Lord via 2 Chronicles 7:14 that says “If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (NKJ)
Beginning at 10 AM on 10 – 10 – 10, we are asking all churches to come into a 10 minutes time of prayer and repentance, at their churches, for the “church,” each state, and the nation, for where we have moved away from the Lord. Then we will begin gathering together at our capitol, on the steps, and begin praying at noon. At 1 PM we will come together in the rotunda of the capitol for a rally before the Lord.
To prepare the way for this to go forth, we are asking for a week of worship/prayer/intercession to go up before the throne. We will begin on Saturday Oct. 2, at 7:30 PM at North Heights Church, in Roseville, in the Fellowship Hall. Please consider taking a night or nights, and gather for prayer, worship, intercession before the Lord. It doesn’t make difference if it is two people praying, or a larger setting worshipping with a worship team. We need for this to happen all over the whole state, in each city and region. Please let Tom Gibson know at hafire@aol.com so we can know what nights are being covered by whom, and where people can fill in to cover the whole state. Please keep this as a simple expression of worship and prayer to the throne of God and not get into local situations or concerns. Lets cover the whole state with many people coming together all over the whole state each night and release a sweet fragrence of worship and prayer before the throne.
